Individual therapy for teens and adults throughout WA and OR
Where in your life do you long to be wild and where do you need to plant roots in order to thrive and build community?
A life worth living looks and feels different for every person. We are not in the business of telling you what a life worth living ought to look like; instead, we strive to provide a judgment free space for you to explore how you want to be in this world. A space for rewilding and rekindling a sense of feeling both rooted and flexible. A space for you to remember how to be at ease, savor joy, and traverse the dark landscapes of grief, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
At Wild Roots, we view ourselves more as compassionate witnesses and gentle guides. We value your innate and inherent worth and believe that part of our job as therapists, and fellow humans, is to help you keep hope alive when hope feels hard or even impossible to find. We believe in laughter, tears, emotions as guides, learning to fully inhabit your body, and embracing your humanness with humility and compassion.
The foundation of our practice is anti-oppressive and trauma-informed. We strive to stay up-to-date with the ways in which we can blend our relational approach with the latest therapy developments to best support you and your needs.
We help folx with the following:
ADHD—Anxiety—Depression—Trauma—Disordered Eating—Relationship Issues—Body Image Struggles—Perfectionism—LGBTQIA+ Struggles—Self-harm—Life transitions
We are so glad you are here.
